SSC CGL Tier 2 Shift Timings
- SSC CGL SALARY ranges from Rs. 25,000 to Rs. 1,51,100. Some of the highest-paying posts in the SSC CGL are Income tax inspector, Assistant Enforcement Officer in ED, ASO in MEA, Sub-inspector in CBI, Excise Inspector, Assistant Audit Officer in CAG, Divisional Accountant, etc.
- SSC CGL Eligibilty Criteria consists of three main factors- age, nationality, and educational qualification. Applying candidates must be Indian citizens. The general education requirement for most of the posts is graduation. The age limit differs with the posts. However, the overall age limit is 18-32 years.
- SSC CGL is one of the toughest and most competitive exams.
- The Staff Selection Commission was set up in 1975.
SSC CGL 2023: Selection Process
SSC CGL 2023:Selection Process comprises of multiple stages. The SSC CGL Exam is conducted in two stages: Tier 1 and Tier 2. For a candidate to clear the SSC CGL Exam, we have mentioned below various stages –
- Tier 1: Computer-Based Examination (objective type questions)
- Tier 2: Computer-Based Examination (objective-type questions.
- Tier 2 will include conducting Paper-I, Paper-II, and Paper-III in separate shift(s)/ day(s).
- Paper-I is compulsory for all the posts whereas Paper-II will be for only those candidates who apply for the posts of Junior Statistical Officer (JSO) in the Ministry of Statistics and Programme Implementation and who are shortlisted in Tier-I for these Posts.
- Paper-III will be for only those candidates who are shortlisted in Tier-I for Paper-III i.e., for the posts of Assistant Audit Officer/ Assistant Accounts Officer.
- Paper-I will be conducted in two sessions – Session–I & Session II, on the same day. Session-I will include conducting Section-I, Section-II, and Module-I of Section III. Session II will include conducting Module II of Section III. Therefore, the duration of Session-I will be 2 hours and 15 minutes and the duration of Session II will be 15 minutes only.
SSC CGL Tier 2 Syllabus 2023
SSC CGL Tier 2 exam will be conducted online comprising 3 papers-
- Paper I (Compulsory for all posts),
- Paper II for candidates who apply for the pofosts of Junior Statistical Officer (JSO) in the Ministry of Statistics and Programme Implementation and
- Paper III for candidates who apply for the posts of Assistant Audit Officer/ Assistant Accounts Officer.
- All Papers are Objective Type, Multiple choice questions, except for Module-II of Section-III of Paper-I
